I like to call it Relationship 101

1. Make a contact
2. Build a relationship
3. Share what you do
4. Ask for business
5. Ask for referrals

Most people make the mistake by asking for the business or the referrals first before solidifying the relationship...

The relationship is the glue that keeps you both together...if you dive into the business situation too soon, the chances of the relationship lasting are slim to none!
